Día 01 Llegada a Chennai

Esta es la capital del estado sureño de Tamil Nadu. Chennai es una de las cuatro principales ciudades metropolitanas de la India. Hoy en día, es difícil creer que un lugar que fue hasta 1639 sólo un pequeño pueblo de pescadores se convirtió en una ciudad tan grande y hermosa.

Día 02 Chennai- Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (60 Kms 1hrs)

Kanchipuram es y está dedicada al Señor Shiva, Kailasanatha es uno de los primeros templos. Fue construido por el rey Pallava, Rayasimha a finales del siglo VII, aunque su fachada se añadió más tarde por su hijo, el rey Varman III. Es el único templo en Kanchi que no está lleno de las últimas incorporaciones de los gobernantes Cholas y Vijayanagar, y por lo tanto refleja la frescura y la sencillez de la arquitectura Dravidian. Visita al famoso Aurobindo Ashram – morada del santo del siglo XX y filósofo Sri Aurobindo que forma el núcleo de muchas actividades y el comercio de Pondicherry. Más tarde, visita a la ciudad de Auroville – un oasis de paz y de iluminación diseñado por el arquitecto francés Roger Anger. Vas a encontrar la ciudad con gran paz y belleza. Regreso al hotel para descansar.

Día 05: Pondicherry – Tanjore – Trichy (200 kms / 7 hrs)

Salida del hotel, después del desayuno visita a la ciudad de Tanjore – La Ciudadela de Chola. Por el camino visita a los templos de Chidambaram, “Templo Gangaikondacholisvaram” (famoso templo de Shiva), con sus hermosas torres altas lleno de muchas pequeñas esculturas que representan historias de epopeyas antiguas y templo “Darasuram” (construido en memoria del elefante blanco – Familia AIRAVATH de los dioses), el templo tiene su nombre original como “Airavatheshwar templo.”  Sigues la ruta a Tanjore.

Al llegar a la ciudad de Tanjore  check-in en el hotel.

Salida inmediata a una excursión de medio día por la ciudad a través de la ciudad de Tanjore visitando Brahadeeswara templo dedicado al dios Shiva – en forma de Linga y el Museo del Palacio y la unidad a Trichy. Regreso al hotel para descansar.

Día 06: Trichy Madurai (225 kms / 6 hrs)

Salida del hotel después del desayuno temprano, ida en coche a Trichy; En el camino visita a la ciudad de Trichy Tiruchirappali, ubicada a 50 km a Tanjore popularmente conocido como Trichy; está situado a las orillas del río Kaveri. Tiene una historia que se remonta a siglos antes de la era cristiana, cuando era una ciudadela de Chola. Visita el templo de Srirangam. Envuelto en una nube de cocos el templo del norte de Srirangam es uno de los templos más interesantes y complejos en la India. Está construido sobre una isla en el río Kaveri con 2 asombrosas cubiertas millas cuadradas. Este enorme templo tiene siete muros concéntricos y 21 torres o ‘gopuram’ rodeadas de murallas de la ciudad que cubren lo grueso del santuario. También puede visitar el Fuerte de Roca, situado en lo alto de una roca arenisca eleva a una altura de 80 metros.

Posteriormente continuarás en coche hacia aa 140 Kms de Trichy Madurai, a tu llegada vamos a registrarte en el hotel. Más tarde en la noche, se te llevara a una noche especial religiosa a una ceremonia en el templo Meenakshi. Regreso al hotel para descansar.

Día 07 En Madurai

Después del desayuno, vamos a tener medio día para visitar la ciudad de Madurai.  Madurai tiene más de 2500 años de antigüedad y es la segunda ciudad más grande de Tamil Nadu. Asiento antiguo de aprendizaje, la ciudad se presenta en la forma de una flor de loto.

Visita el famoso templo de Madurai Meenakshi. Hay cuatro entradas a este increíble complejo de templos establecidos en seis hectáreas. Toca los pilares de piedra ubicadas en el complejo con cualquier objeto duro y sentiras los sonidos metálicos increíbles, es conocido como pilares musicales. El número total de columnas en el templo es asombrosamente mil. Desde allí se tiene una vista espectacular al Palacio Thirumalai Nayak, Museo  de Gandhi y Mercado de las flores. Regreso al hotel para descansar.

Día 08 Madurai – Kanyakumari (250 Kms, 5,5 horas)

Después del desayuno, tomaremos rumbo a la ciudad de Kanyakumari. Más tarde visita Vivekananda Rock, Templo Sucheendram y Gandhi Memorial. Seremos testigos de una puesta de sol espectacular. Regreso al hotel para descansar.

Día 09 Kanyakumari – Kovalam (90 km, 2 horas)

Después del desayuno, iremos hacia la ciudad de Kanyakumari en la ruta visita el Palacio de Padmanabhapuram. Entrada a Kovalam. Regreso al hotel para descansar.

Día 10 turismo Trivandrum

Después del desayuno nos dirigimos a Trivandrum para una recorrido.

Trivandrum es una antigua ciudad con tradición que se remonta a 1000 antes de Cristo. Thiruvananthapuram, la capital de Kerala es una hermosa ciudad costera construida sobre siete colinas. Se encuentra en la costa occidental de la India cerca del extremo sur de la península, se extiende sobre un total de 2.192 km². Puedes disfrutar de hermosas vistas panorámicas de Trivandrum

Museo Napier: – Napier Museum Complex revela una visión de la rica herencia cultural de Kerala. El edificio del museo es una combinación de Kerala, Mughal, estilos arquitectónicos chinos e italianos.

Sree Chitra Galería de Arte: – Sree Chitra Galería de Arte tiene una valiosa colección de pinturas de Raja Ravi Varma y Roerich entre otros, y fascinantes obras de las escuelas de arte de Mughal, Rajput y Tanjore.

Templo Padmanabhaswami: – Se encuentra dentro de la fortaleza del este en Thiruvananthapuram, la capital del estado de Kerala en la India es el templo Sree Padmanabha Swamy dedicado al dios Vishnu. Este templo es una mezcla de Kerala y estilos de Dravidian de la arquitectura.

Kuthiramalika Palacio Museo: – también conocido como Palacio Puthen Malika o mansión de caballos, es un palacio situado en el lado sur-este del templo Sree Padmanabha Swami. El Palacio Kuthira Malika se llama así debido a la forma de las tallas de cabeza de caballos en las paredes exteriores. El palacio fue construido por Maharaja Swathi Tirunal Balarama Varma, el rey de Travancore, el palacio es un buen ejemplo del estilo Travancore tradicional adornado con exquisitas tallas de madera. Día 12 Kovalam – Cochin

Delicioso desayuno en el hotel, y luego salida a visitar la ciudad de Cochin.

Cochin Es la Reina del Mar Arábigo, sin duda, el centro comercial de Kerala, donde la civilización antigua combina con gracia con la vida moderna. Desde principios de año, Cochin ha tenido relaciones comerciales y culturales con el mundo exterior y también había experimentado episodios de Europa de pulsante rivalidad colonial.

En la visita del mediodía al Fuerte de Cochin: – visitaras la Sinagoga judía: – La sinagoga judía en la ciudad portuaria de Kochi es la más antigua de toda la Comunidad de Naciones de sinagogas, catalogada como Patrimonio Mundial de la Unesco

Palacio Holandés: – Construido por los portugueses en 1557 y presentado al Raja Veera Kerala Varma de Kochi, el palacio fue restaurado en 1663 por los holandeses. Él tiene una exquisita colección de murales que en conjunto abarcan más de 300 metros cuadrados de paredes de parafernalia real, también se muestran armas, columpios y mobiliario que ofrecen una visión de la forma de vida de la familia real.

Visita a la Iglesia de San Francisco y las redes de pesca chinas.

Por la noche, disfrutaras de la experiencia de ver el espectáculo de danza Kathakali (opcional) Centro Cultural de Cochin.

Día 13 Cochin.

Día de salida 14 Cochin

Por la mañana, uno de nuestros representantes  te encontrara en el hotel y te llevará al aeropuerto internacional de Cochin para abordar tu vuelo de regreso.
